Liz Gorman is an artist specialising in cameraless and alternative photographic practises, often utilising sculptural and performative elements to her work.
With a keen interest in early photographic techniques, her work plays with photography’s relationship with objectivity in order to dissect, examine and critique contemporary political concerns including capitalism, gender and ecological disaster.
Originally from Liverpool, she is now firmly based in South East London. She graduated from Camberwell College of Art in 2012 and is now a co-director at The Gate Darkroom and General Manager at Photofusion.
